university (KULAK)

Bye bye high school, welcome new life !
I've met new people, other teachers. Now we're following classes in an auditorium.
And we're not anymore obliged to attend classes! (I feel more independent :) )
Before the academic year began, we went to Anseremme for 5 days or something. So we had the opportunity to socialize with other new students. We had a great time!
lots of love,

Here are some pictures, taken in springtime, enjoy ! :)

(my cat)

I've got a lot to tell you all. It's been a long time I've posted something. And actually, there's changed a lot. :) I passed the admittance exam for medical school! Right now, I'm not longer in high school, but in a school called university. And I like! (new friends, no more unattended tests, more parties.. )
Oh and my parents got the idea to buy an other house, so we're moving! That's really exciting. :)
In the summer holidays, I went off to Croatia in a fortnight, together with my best friend (Justine), my sister (Anne) and a couple of friends of her. In August, we made a trip to Great-Britain (Dover, Canterbury, Whitstable). It was short, but I liked it! I also did some photography during the last year, especially photos of the scenery in different seasons. I hope you enjoy the time on my blog :)
Lots of love,

I wish you a merry Christmas!

Christmas Magic

Are we too grownup to feel thrill
as we light the Christmas tree?
Are we immune to cookies,
Christmas cards and Christmas glee?
Are we too adult to ''Ooh'' and ''Aah''
at the Christmas candle's glow?
Are we blasé about our gifts;
Do we shun the mistletoe?
Are we too mature for carols,
For merry or for jolly?
Do the decorations leave us cold,
the ornaments and holly?
Fat chance! We'll never grow too old
to love the Christmas magic.
A year without a Christmas
would be boring, even tragic.
So bring it on. The candy canes,
the feasting and good cheer;
o Christmas, lovely Christmas,
you're the highlight of the year!

I wish all of you a merry Christmas!

Yesterday I was having my Christmaseve together with my parents, my two sisters and my grandmother. We gave each other presents and ate a Christmasmeal. (consist of four parts or something, believe me, there was more than enough!) We started with a tomato soup, then we took a starter (with fish), the principal meal was turkey with a garniture of vegetables and croquettes. Finally, we finished our meal with a 'kerstbuche' (I don't know the word in English, it's Dutch)
My sisters and me gave a special Christmaspresent to our parents. We made our own CD with guitar songs and covered the CD with our own photos. (I'll post the songs later on my blog, don't except too much :p ) They were so happy.

I got earrings, a comb, a new pyjama, perfume, haha and I even got printing papers! (They gave that to me just because they need it :) )

And tonight we're invited by my oncle for a family get together. I'm looking forward to! So, how was your Christmaseve, -day?

Lots of love, Sophie

Hellooo :D
Exams are finished, tomorrow I'll get my score :) But I'm already enjoying my holidays! So I took some pictures of fields covered with snow. It's a pretty nice to see all those white places. It makes me so happy. But it's really annoying to ride through melted snow. Whatever, in two days I'll be celebrating Christmasevening with my family. How does your Christmasevening look like?
Bye, have a nice holiday!

my dear,

Here's a little kind of summary of what i've been doing the last month. On the second picture you can see some friends of school and me. We were serving spaghetti and the profit went to our schooljourney to the Czech Republic. We did a good job!
On the other picture I was doing a 'performance' on guitar in the shopping near by my place (see pic. on the top). Together with some friends I know from the music lessons. I had great hopes of it, but actually it wasn't that spectacular. But we made a lot of fun and afterwards we were treated on pancakes and waffles.
I also did a birthdayparty, that was fun! Just dislike that I always have to leave parties at 12.30u, can you believe that? The reason is that the day after I have to work, so I can't really permit to stay longer... But there's coming a gala-ball and I'll stay to 4 am or something!
And of course, exams are coming (in a week or something). Believe me, I hate that! Of course I wish all of you good luck on your exams!
But I'm looking forward to the Christmas holidays!

The last few weeks...

... I haven't been blogging anything due my busy life, I'm sorry. Music lessons, school, working, parties, baby-sitting, sporting... it all makes part
of one week of mine.
Here are some pictures of what I have been doing al the time:
(I was a monitor on a vacation with children)
(a crazy party in my town)
(together with all the pupils who are in the same year as me (= senior year), we went to our Northsee where we have an awesome time! We did some rafting, surfing and other 'waterstuffs', or something whatever )
